Dr. Elmi Berisha was reelected President at VATRA’s Assembly on June 27, 2026. Article 56 of the adopted 2026 By-Laws establishes a four-year presidential term. The By-Laws separately provide for a two-year Assembly cycle beginning with the first Assembly after adoption; these are distinct provisions.

The Federation’s published Strategic Program for 2026–2030 sets out the leadership’s stated priorities, including organizational modernization, youth participation, education, cultural and historical preservation, and institutional development. These are published aims, not claims that projects are complete.
